Subject: See You There; Address Attached

Make your way quietly. The thirteenth
streetlight on your right should stay dark

all night. Slip inside its shadow; follow
the white chalk signs, erasing as you go.

Make your way quickly. But for the sentry
napping beside the gate, the streets look deserted.

This doesn't mean you haven't been tailed—
but if you have, it means we failed. Take your ball-

gag out & use it. There's no map past this point,
only the stenciled numbers on the curb,

& the various factions peeking around corners.
Avoid them. Count up as high as you dare.

Walk up to a door. Make your actions speak.
Knock. If we're not there, we won't answer.
